iSafeguard Freeware is easy to use software that secures your files and e-mails with strong encryption and digital signature. Features include: integrated with Windows shell; creating own X.509 digital certificates; securing files and folders; securing e-mails, verifying digital signatures; wiping files and folders; wiping disk free space. It supports many e-mail clients including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail, Juno Mail, Lycos Mail, Eudora Webmail, and Brinkster WebMail. iSafeguard Freeware supports Text, RTF, and HTML e-mails also. What's new in this version: Version 6.3 adds better support for Windows Vista and some enhancements.

2.0 stars "Can't Get it to Decrypt" June 4, 2012В В |В В By penitentserf Version: iSafeguard Freeware 6.3 ProsIt works well with Internet Explorer and Gmail on Vista. I was able to get it to Encrypt and Sign. That is, the message sent out was a bunch of garbled text that was not easily readable by the human eye. The encrypted data has what appeared to be valid header data attached to it. ConsI was unable to get it to Decrypt. It kept saying ASN1 Corruption Error. This could be a problem inherent with the software or it could be something with my setup or it could be that the software is just not user friendly. In any case, I'm not going to use this software anymore. SummaryI evaluated the iSafeguard Professional Software from the mxcsoft.com website.
